Who is eligible to enter?

This Promotion is open to residents of United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), aged 18 or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of Aunt Bessie’s (the” Promoter”), its agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

How long is the promotional period?

The promotion opens at 00:00 (UK time) on 04.05.2017 and closes at 23:59 (UK time) 14.06.2017. Purchases must be made and online entries completed within this period.

How do I enter?

Entry requires the purchase of an Aunt Bessie’s participating product from Asda.

To enter, visit www.wintripswithchips.co.uk and follow the instructions. Entrants will be required to provide their full name, email address, postal address and telephone number, and confirm they are 18 or over in order to enter.

Please retain original Asda till or online receipt for each individual entry, as it may be required for verification in the event of a win. All receipts must be dated and timed before the entry of the code.

Can I enter without purchasing a participating product?

Entries without purchase are only available for residents of Northern Ireland.

To enter without purchase in Northern Ireland (NI) send your full name, telephone number and postal address to; Aunt Bessie’s TWC @ Brass Agency, Moorfield House, Alma Road, Leeds, LS6 2AH. Only one entry per correctly stamped addressed envelope. Bulk entries will not be accepted. Only winners will be notified. Entrants must allow at least 10 days from posting to be entered and need to ensure receipt by the handling house before the closing date for online entries 14.06.2017. Illegible entries will be disregarded.

How many times can I enter?

Entries are limited to one per person, per day. 1 purchase =1 entry. Strictly one email address will be accepted per person. If more than one entry is received from the same email address or from a different email address by the same person in any day, all such entries will be disqualified. Entrants who do not give correct details or those who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion. No entries from agents, third parties, organised group or entries automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No bulk entries. No entrant can use their computer to enable multiple entries, (e.g. By the use of 'script' or 'brute force' or the use of automated devices or processes). In the event that person's entry and all associated multiple entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

What constitutes as a receipt?

A till receipt issued in store or an online e-receipt will be accepted assuming it meets the product and date criteria outlined in the terms and conditions.

How do I know if I’ve won?

If you have won a prize you will be contacted using the contact details you provided upon entering the promotion. You will have 14 days from the draw date to arrange fulfilment of your prize. Main prize winners must respond within 21 days of notification. If the prize is not claimed within this time, it will be deemed forfeited. The process will be repeated with a reserve winner, drawn at the same time as the main winner. If the reserve winner does not claim the prize, the prize will be deemed unclaimed. All runner-up prize winners will have their prize despatched within 28 days of the draw date to the address supplied at point of entry.

Prize draws will take place on the following dates:

19/05/2017. 1 main prize winner will be selected from all entries received from 00:00 04.05.2017 to 23.59 on 18.05.2017.

02/06/2017. 1 main prize winner will be selected from all entries received from 00:00 19.05.2017 to 23.59 on 01.06.2017

15/06/2017. 1 main prize winner will be selected from all entries received from 09:00 04.05.2017 to 23.59 on 14.06.2017. 1,000 x runner up winners will also be selected.

Entries to the 1st Prize Draw will not be rolled over to the 2nd Prize Draw. Winners of the 1st and 2nd Prize Draw will still be eligible for the 3rd Grand Prize draw.

What could I win?

For prize draws 1 and 2 winners will have the option to select one of the following weekend breaks:

  • Glamping - prize package for 4 people
  • Forest Cabin - prize package for 4 people
  • Holiday Park - prize package for 4 people

For the Grand Prize draw the prize will be as follows:

  • Trip to Florida - Prize package for 4 people

There are also 1,000 runner up prizes to be won. These are pairs of branded flip flops available in size medium.

I’ve won a prize, what happens next?

How do I claim my prize?

Winners will be required to submit proof of purchase from Asda, during the promotional period, to claim their prize. This can be via email to support@wintripswithchips.co.uk detailing the email address they registered upon entering the promotion. Upon receipt of a valid claims winners will be able to arrange their prizes.
